Orikum lagoon has always been a really popular ringing staion, where several new species for Albania were found. Among the birds you can encounter are Cannareccione, Moriglione, Alzavola, Forapaglie castagnolo, Marangone minore, Saltimpalo, Garzetta, Airone rosso, Sgarza ciuffetto and Falco di palude. One of the most reliable places to find Beccamoschino.

Accesso
Parking usually at bar restaurant Tani from where the path starts. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. You will have the lagoon at your right hand side and some marshes at your left hand side. Your route will be passing near the Orikum Sewage Treatment Plant. The route that is indicated on the map is about 4 km one way.
