A viewpoint across the valley, through a pine and conifer forest. Benches present, and good view for several miles over the valley below.
Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint is a short walk through a pine or conifer forest and then several benches overlooking the valley. Very good spot for Gáshaukur year round, but especially in late winter when they're displaying. In summer a good spot for Býþjór. Músvákur, Förufálki and Svölugleða also present. In the adjacent forest Krossnefur, Barrfinka and Dómpápi can be seen, with very occasional Kjarnbítur in winter.
Small car park present, can get quite full in summer. Click on the P in the map for directions.
There are also Turtildúfa nearby at the forestry nursery, one of the northernmost sites in Britain where they can be seen.
