Description

Trumpington Meadows Country Park is a spacious expanse of flowering meadows, riverside, woodland, hedgerow and parkland alongside the River Cam. The grasslands are managed through grazing and haycutting to benefit wildlife. 181 bird species noted, including Förufálki, Gaukur, Engisöngvari, Hagaskvetta, Hrossagaukur, Mjallhegri and Bláþyrill. Otters and other mammals, interesting wildflowers, butterflies and moths.

Easy access from M11 by car, car parking as per map below. Click on the P in the map for directions. Buses regular from Cambridge bus station. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
