Description

The St Ives Estate is a Country Park with woodlands, open moor, and a wildflower meadow, and paths throughout. It is Bradford Districts largest park at 217ha. Due to the mosaic of habitats at St Ives the birds vary widely according to preferred habitat and food type. There are water birds and woodland birds. There is some moorland edge with heather that is also good for birds. Skógarsnípa can be heard at night, various warblers including Grænsöngvari.
