Murton Country Park offers a variety of activities and attractions, including an animal farm, a tearoom, and an extensive nature reserve with lochs and wetlands. There are 3 main water bodies, a marsh, a thriving Bakkasvala colony, wildfowl and breeding and passage waders. Gjóður often flying over. There are three bird hides.
Murton Country Park is easily accessible by car and close to the town of Forfar. Strictly no dogs allowed. Car park often busy due to tearoom. Entrance to the reserve is free. The car park is open from 9am daily and the gates are closed at 4.30pm. Press P on the map for directions.
