Doune Ponds is a useful beginners' site with picnic area and hides. Gjóður, Sparrhaukur, Hrossagaukur, Stokkönd, Mandarínönd, Skógfeti, Laufsöngvari, Gransöngvari, Gráhegri and Fossbúi to be seen.
