Series of ponds in and around the village of Brynmawr.
Brynmawr Ponds is a chain of ponds that are nice for birdwatching. The main pond is in the village of Brynmawr. From there you explore the other ponds. Among the birds you can see here are Gulönd, Rauðhöfðaönd, Skúfönd, Hrossagaukur, Dómpápi, Sefsöngvari and Seftittlingur.
Parking is available close to the main pond. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From the parking you can walk to the main pond and other two ponds that are close. See the map below.
Officially known as Parc Nantywaun. There is further onstreet parking in Warwick Road on the northern edge of the park.
