Freshwater lagoon and pebble beach at mouth of Dysynni river with reedbeds, sand dunes, islands and saltmarsh.
Broad Water has phragmites reedbeds that have Sefþvari, Keldusvín, Sefsöngvari and Síkjasöngvari. Sea ducks, Langvía, Súla, Rita and Toppönd pass by offshore. Húsaskotta in winter, terns, Dvergmáfur, Steindepill, perhaps also Þórshani in autumn. Many waders especially Tjaldur, Fjöruspói, Sendlingur, Lindastelkur and Sandlóa. Haförn have been seen.
From Tywyn take minor road north, parallel to railway. Limited roadside parking on right after two miles. Extensive offroad parking at own risk (grassed area can be excessively wet after rain or high tides, check tide table)
