Nature reserve with a two kilometer long erosion slope where Bakkasvala thrives and at the top a fantastic view of Lake Vättern.
Rosenlunds Bankar has a long erosion slope that creates habitats for many species. Here, the stream of Skrämmabrook also flows into the water. In summer, Bakkasvala hunts across the water and resting ducks are often seen in the water below the escarpment. The site is also good for watching migratory birds.
Rosenlunds Bankar is located on the banks of Lake Vättern between Jönköping and Huskvarna. There are nice trails throughout the area with fantastic views. Parking spaces are available in several locations. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 6 km.
