Description

Råbydammen is a small shallow pond with some little islands in the middle. The pond is surrounded by a flowery meadow. Rare birds such as Kúhegri and Heiðagæs have been spotted here. Birds that can be spotted here on a more regular basis are Brandönd, Hvinönd, Sefgoði, Sandlóa, Vatnalóa, Vepja, Tjaldur and Stelkur.

Access

Råbydammen is located south of the city of Lund immediately on the edge of the built-up area and therefore easy accessible from Lund. You can get a good view of the pond from the road that runs south of the area. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
