Description
Missmyra is a small wetland in an otherwise forest-dominated part of the region. The large reedbeds hosts birds like Sefsöngvari, Keldusvín and Brúnheiðir. Missmyra is also appreciated by waterfowl like Hvinönd, Flórgoði, Skeiðönd and Urtönd. This attracts birds of prey such as Haförn and Sparrhaukur.

Missmyra has restricted parking possibilities with only a small parking lot on the grass. Click ob the P in the map for directions. From the parking, you can walk the short distance to the tower.
