Description
In Lamburträsk you can see the majority of Lapland’s waders and seabirds as nesting birds or migratory birds on their way north in spring. You can hear the calls of the Grátrana, Álft and Akurgæs echoing over the lake and see waders like Flóastelkur, Hrossagaukur, Dvergsnípa, Fjöruspói and Lyngstelkur. Almost all of the country's duck birds can be seen in the area. For example Hvítönd, but also birds like Sefgoði. And large flocks of Óðinshani rest in the lake on their way to the mountain marshes in the spring.
