Description
Igeln is a lake that is rich in bird life. Grátrana and Álft breed, several birds of prey have forage here, like Gjóður and Brúnheiðir, as well as Náttugla and Skálmugla. Different species of ducks and woodpeckers live in or around the lake. Other species include Sefþvari, Trjástelkur, Krossnefur, Barrmeisa, Toppmeisa, Runntítla and Músarrindill. Wild boar, moose, fallow deer, deer, badger, fox and hare are found in the area.

Access
Go east from Kumla to Hallsberg-Pålsbodavägen, take off at Ålsta and past Herrfallsäng, Ämtsäter and take the next crossroads towards Hälla gård - Pålsboda. Just before Pouring, take the small forest road east of the road. Then about 1 km forest road and another 400 m bad forest road to the right in T-cross. Park at the turning area at the end of the road, follow the path to the observation tower.
