Description

Most interesting birds in the Hågadalen-Nåsten nature reserve can be found here. On an early spring evening you can hear Sparrugla while Skógarsnípa flies overhead. In spring and summer many birds can be heard. This old clear cut forest is starting to grow over again and lures a lot of birds. The only down side is that it is a 2-3 km walk from the nearest parking lot. Many woodpeckers reside here as well, like Svartspæta, Grænspæta, Stubbspæta and some winters one can be lucky enough to encounter a Gráspæta.
