Grosseskär is an bare island with an open landscape and lots of birds. Note: you are not allowed to enter the island or land a boat during the breeding season. Among the birds you can see are Tildra, Tjaldur, Sandlóa, Kjói, Haförn, Æðarfugl, Teista, Toppönd and Gjóður.

You must have your own boat to get here. Observing the birds is possible from the boat. Landing and exploring the island on foot is only possible/permitted outside the breeding season.
