Description
Punta de Sa Pedrera is an easily accessed area of rocky coastline with excellent views of the area. Bláþröstungur can be seen in the scrub around the top of the cliffs below which Förufálki breeds. Kamblævirki can also bee seen in the area.
During migration large numbers of hirundines and swifts can pass overhead and the occasional wader can drop onto the shoreline. It's also worth checking the area for passerine migrants such as Vallskvetta and Garðaskotta. Offshore Klapparmáfur and Kóralmáfur are easily seen and when there is sufficient wind both Urðaskrofa (diomedea) and Brúnskorfa can be seen in San Antonio bay. Toppskarfur is also present in good numbers.
