Puerto de Torrevieja is a good site for observing seabirds. Klapparmáfur is everywhere, although it is relatively easy to spot other gulls like Hettumáfur, Lónamáfur and Kóralmáfur. Other birds you can spot depending on the time of year are Súla, Álka, Dílaskarfur, Toppskarfur, Skúmur and Brúnskorfa.
