Parque El Cerro is a city park that is rich in birds and good for birdwatching. Amog the birds that are seen here are Topplævirki, Spánarspör, Kliðfálki, Skógarþröstur, Gullkollur, Grænpáfi, Svölugleða, Grágrípur, Flekkugrípur, Gulfinka, , Herfugl, Vatnagleða, Turnugla, Barrspæta, Skopugla, Húsaskotta, Sandhæna, Skottmeisa, Stubbspæta, Krossnefur, Býsvelgur, Fölsvölungur and Grænspæta.

You can park north of the park in the Polideportivo El Cerro area. There is ample parking.
