Due to its strategic location on the Huelva coast and its tidal fluvial regime, it is a place of great interest from the birdwatching point of view.
Marismas del Tinto is a wetland located on the banks over the river Tinto. The area is used by many birds as a roost, rest and feeding area. Up to 79 bird species have been recorded, among which it is worth highlighting Gjóður, Brúnheiðir, Urtönd, Skeiðönd, Brandönd, Bláþyrill and Keldusvín.

Espagnol: Por su localización estratégica en la costa de Huelva y su régimen fluviomareal, es un espacio de gran interés desde el punto de vista faunístico. Su principal interés faunístico radica en el conjunto de aves que lo utilizan como dormidero, descanso y alimentación, habiéndose censado hasta 79 especies, entre las que cabe destacar al águila pescadora, el aguilucho lagunero occidental, el pato cuchara, la cerceta común, el tarro blanco, el martín pescador o el rascón europeo.
This wetland, located between the Doñana Natural Park and the mouth of the Tinto is best explored from the road along the river Tinto. The route is mostly by car with small walks in between.
