Description
This small wetland located a little to the northeast of the village of Madrigalejo is nice to check out. There was a nice observation tower here, unfortunately, the lookout tower has burned down. Among the birds you can see in this place are Hvítstorkur, Mjallhegri, Rauðhegri (April and May), Sefsöngvari, Hagaskvetta, Fagurstrildi, Býsvelgur, Hálmsöngvari, Brúnheiðir, Völsungur, Svölugleða, Steppusvarri, Iberian Magpie and Dílagaukur (January to April). In the winter months the Vatnasöngvari is a regular visitor.
