The Sella and Amadorio rivers reservoir, with variable amounts of water throughout the year, attracts many birds.
Embalse del Amadorio is a reservoir that allows you to see both aquatic, marsh and terrestrial birds. Different species of herons, large flocks of Klapparmáfur, sometimes Toppskarfur, Dílaskarfur, Turnfálki and different kinds of birds of prey. Some other birds you can see here are Gransöngvari, Maríuerla, Húsaskotta and Grágæs.

Espagnol: Embalse de los ríos Sella y Amadorio, con cantidades de agua variable a lo largo del año. Embalse que permite ver tanto aves acuática, palustres y terrestre: Klapparmáfur Gransöngvari, Maríuerla, Húsaskotta, Gráhegri and Grágæs.
Embalse del Amadorio is located about 15 kilometers from Benidorm between the towns of Villajoyosa and Orxeta in the province of Alicante. It is reached by the road from Villajoyosa to Orxeta. You can park in the recreational area or in the north side of the marsh. Click on a P in the map to go to the parking of your choice. A circular route around the reservoir can be done on foot and by bike, by car only half.
