Embalse de la Tabla is a small reservoir in a quiet rural area southwest of the city of León. The surroundings are open countryside with farmland, and gentle hills typical of the León region. Birds you can observe depending on the time of year and the water level in the reservoir include Herfugl, Býsvelgur, Topplævirki, Næturgali, Álmtittlingur, Hvítstorkur, Gráhegri, Bjarthegri, Mjallhegri, Dílagaukur, Brúnheiðir, Gjóður, Snákerna, Hettumáfur, Ryðönd, Dverggoði, Háleggur, Sandlóa, and Hrossagaukur.

Embalse de la Tabla is located 50 km southwest of the city of León, near the village of Jiménez de Jamuz. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The bird hide is closed because Býsvelgur nest there.
