The Osuna Steppes, no matter what time of the year are great to visit. Just drive around the area and stop frequently and you can see birds like Trölldoðra, Dvergdoðra, Sandspjátra, Tríll, Völsungur and Bláhrani. Or at the ponds rare ducks like Eirönd and often Rauðflæmingi. But also more common birds like Sandhæna, Hrafn, Býsvelgur, Herfugl and Hjálmsöngvari.
Sometimes Trölldoðra can be seen in large groups up to 70 birds!

Drive north and northwest from Osuna en keep on the secondary roads. Make frequent stops and scan the landscape.
