Description
Pustnicu Forest is a big forest bordering the river Pasărea, a tributary of the river Danube. In the areas bordering the water, Cernica and Pustnicu, you can observe birds like Toppgoði, Tígulþerna, Bleshæna and Jarpönd. In the forested parts you can see birds like Barrspæta, Fauskspæta, Grænspæta, Flotmeisa, Skrækskaði and Hnotigða.

Pustnicu Forest is located 12 km northeast of Bucharest. Easy access by car on paved road. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking you can explore the area by bike or on foot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 5 km.
