Salinas das Praias do Sado is an excellent place for watching waders such as Stelkur, Sandlóa, Lyngstelkur, Háleggur, Grálóa, Bjúgnefja, among others. It is also a good place to observe Rauðflæmingi, Dílaskarfur, Ránþerna, Gjóður, among many other species.

Português: Área de antigas salinas excelente para observação de limícolas e outras aves de ambiente aquático. Local excelente para observação de limícolas como Stelkur, Sandlóa,Lyngstelkur, Háleggur, Grálóa, Bjúgnefja, entre outras. Também é um bom sítio para observar Rauðflæmingi, Dílaskarfur, Ránþerna, Gjóður entre muitas outas espécies.

Access

Crossing the Praias-do-Sado as if coming from Setúbal, in the middle of the sharp left turn you will find the entrance to the paths that allow you to travel through the area. It is recommended that you travel by car to prevent the birds from being disturbed.
