Description
The Witoszówka reservoir in Świdnica is a recreational place for Świdnica residents and a reserve for anglers. Although the shore is regulated without trees and reeds it is home to hundreds of birds. In winter this is a great place to observe gulls from a short distance (the reservoir is max. 300 m long, the piers are located in its south-western part). During winter migration, there are Stormmáfur, Hettumáfur, Klapparmáfur and Silfurmáfur. Often Svartbakur, Sílamáfur and Lónamáfur. Occasionally Rita. Other birds you can see are Skutulönd, Taumönd, Hnúðsvanur, Ryðönd and Gulönd.
