Hel Headland is a perfect place to observe seabirds during migrations. You can then observe the following birds, rare in this part of the Baltic Sea: Álka, Langvía, Teista, Rita, Kjói, as well as Þaraþerna, Kría and, if you are lucky, sometimes you get Súla.

You can reach the Hel Peninsula and the town of Hel by car, bicycle or train. You can park your car in the city or in a parking lot near the forest. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the town of Hel you can then walk or bike along the path through the forest. The train arrives at a station from which you can easily get to the city. Note: the Hel Peninsula is an extremely popular holiday destination in the summer season and then extremely crowded.
