The Okręt lake is situated in the depressions of the Bobrówka river valley. The lake is one of the largest natural reservoirs in central Poland.
The natural value of Jezioro Okręt is a great abundance of birds, both during the breeding and migration period. One of the rarer birds that probably breed here is Blábrystingur. During the migration period, there are large flocks of wetland birds and many ducks on the lake. Among the birds you can encounter are Vepja, Skeiðönd, Taumönd, Urtönd, Skutulönd, Grafönd, Skúfönd, Duggönd, Helsingi, Blesgæs, Brúnheiðir and Haförn.
There is no major problem with access to the lake. You can leave your car, for example, in the village of Krępa.
