Description

Dzwonowo ponds are man made fish ponds that attract a lot of birds. Some ponds are drained and great spots for waders. The amount of birds is depending much on the water levels in each pond. Some ponds hold large numbers of duck. The ponds also hold a breeding population of Sefgoði. Among the other birds you can see here are Álft, Taumönd, Skutulönd, Grátrana, Haförn, Hrossagaukur, Dvergsnípa, Pungmeisa, Kampameisa, Bláþyrill, Þúfutittlingur, Gultittlingur, Seftittlingur, Vatnalóa and with a little luck Kolstorkur.
