Description
You can find a Flóðsöngvari here resounding in the extensive reed beds. As well as listen to the singing of a Dultittlingur and a Næturgali on the edge of the forest. If you are lucky, you may even notice an Eyrugla flying silently over the local fields. The forest itself also hides many interesting species such as Skógfeti, Grænsöngvari and Gullkollur.
If you are here in autumn, you can expect waders, which include Flóastelkur, Lyngstelkur and Lindastelkur. The river itself also has a lot to offer, Gulönd and numerous Hnúðsvanur breed here. In the morning, the loud cry of the Grátrana resounds here, as it brings out its nests here. I hope I have described it well and encouraged you to visit this wonderful place.
