Perfect viewpoint on the flooded meadows of Biebrza National Park, full of shorebirds, ducks, wader and geese. All 3 marsh terns frequent.
Brzostowo is absolutely the best birdwatching spot in Biebrza National park, with the overview of parks meadows you can easily observe Vepja, Rúkragi, Jaðrakan, Stelkur and Flóastelkur. Big concentrations of all kinds of ducks like Rauðhöfðaönd, Grafönd, Taumönd, Gargönd, Urtönd, swans (early spring) Dvergsvanur, Álft and geese Blesgæs, Akurgæs (serrirostris), Grágæs and other more rare geese. During the spring season all Polish terns are present at the spot. Haförn patrol the area every day.
Stay on the road leading up to the water, the farmers nearby don't approve of you birding from their property but will welcome you if you stay on the public gravel road. Stationary observations only.
