Description
The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example Næturgali, Þyrnisöngvari, Netlusöngvari and Spésöngvari. In the young forest you can already find Barrspæta and Stubbspæta. In the fields around the forest, the Fjalllóa is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter Fjallvákur and Smyrill.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld Næturgali, Þyrnisöngvari, Netlusöngvari en Spésöngvari. In het jonge bos zitten al Barrspæta en Stubbspæta. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de Fjalllóa gezien en in de winter Fjallvákur en Smyrill.
