Gravenallee Almelo is a small forest that - due to the variation in tree and plant species - has a relatively large number of bird species. Think of 5 woodpecker species, Kjarnbítur, Dómpápi, Náttugla, Laufsöngvari, Gullkollur and Bláþyrill. In the spring also many singing Flekkugrípur.

Ook het aantal oude en dode bomen in dit bos is hoog. Door die variatie in bomen- en plantensoorten zijn ook relatief veel vogelsoorten aanwezig. Denk aan 5 spechtensoorten, Kjarnbítur, Dómpápi, Náttugla, Laufsöngvari, Gullkollur en Bláþyrill. In het voorjaar ook veel zingende Flekkugrípur.

Especially easily accessible by bicycle. By car you have to park at the beginning of the Gravenallee, which costs a total of about 2 km extra walking (back and forth to the parking lot). Click on the P in the map for directions to the car park. The walk from the parking lot (which is shown on the map) is about 4 km in total.

Nederlands: Vooral goed toegankelijk met de fiets. Met de auto moet je aan het begin van de Gravenallee parkeren, dit kost in totaal ongeveer 2 km extra lopen (heen en terug naar de parkeerplaats).
