Description
The Stagno di Porto Botte is a wetland located on the south-western coast of Sardinia. The lagoon is close to the sea and the depth does not exceed 50 cm. The salt steppes that surround the basins give the site an excellent naturalistic quality. Among the birds you can see are Rauðflæmingi, Háleggur, Skeiðönd, Brandönd, Lindastelkur, Rúkragi, Rauðhegri, Strandlóa, Dvergþerna, Sílaþerna, Bjarthegri, Urtönd, Toppgoði and Bleikmáfur.
