Description

The Rio Branega connects the river to the calm channel. The area characterized by wetlands and reeds is a refuge for many rails (including Sefhæna, Keldusvín, Flóðrella and Dílarella) and small ardeids, in particular it is a resting place frequented almost every year by Rindilþvari. With a bit of luck even small, shy passerines such as Blábrystingur can be observed peeking out from the dense vegetation.
