Uvda is the name of a region in the southern Negev desert, directly north of Eilat. The Uvda Valley is very good for birdwatching.
The Uvda Valley has a soft landscape of the round hills with sandy small streams, covered with sands that flow into a very wide plain. The area attracts many migratory birds and desert birds and is a good place to watch bird migration. The area is known for the many wheatears that can be seen.
The Uvda Valley is about a one hour drive NW of Eilat.
