Description
Kilberry Bog is a fantastic winter birding area as it has Eyrugla, Turnugla and sometimes Brandugla. It has Músvákur, Smyrill, Sparrhaukur, Turnfálki, Förufálki and Bláheiðir. There are Stokkönd, Urtönd, Hrossagaukur, Dvergsnípa, Heiðlóa, Vepja, Sandlóa and occasionally Trjástelkur. It also has Hnúðsvanur and Álft.

Access
You can access Kilberry Bog by car as far as the edge then walk around. There are several laneways which lead to it and cars can be parked at the roadside so long as you don't block access or gateways. Click on the P in the map for directions.

As well as the birds listed earlier, there are a lot of small songbirds like Gultittlingur, Hagaskvetta, Þúfutittlingur, Sönglævirki, Seftittlingur and various finches.
