Városliget Park sits on the Pest side of Budapest, just northeast of the city center. Easily accessible by public transport (metro, buses). Metro line M1 (Yellow Line), runs directly to the park. If you get off at Hősök tere (1), you step out practically at the edge of the park. If you ride one more stop to Széchenyi fürdő (2), you arrive deeper inside the park. The park is best explored on foot, but there are also designated cycling paths.
