Description

Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Jörfadepill. Birds of prey include Turnfálki, Kliðfálki (especially at the acropolis), Skopugla and Arnvákur. Other birds you can encounter are Relluhegri, Tríll, Trjásvarri, Brandsvala and Veimiltíta.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
