Description
During springtime many rather common breeding birds like Sefsöngvari, Þyrnisöngvari, Bláþyrill, Grágæs, Gráhegri and single pairs of Gauktíta are present. During autumn migration some Hrossagaukur and Lindastelkur, Keldusvín and single Individuals of Dílarella. High numbers of Grágæs and Nílarönd. In August and September some Sefsöngvari, Síkjasöngvari, Reyrsöngvari and Seljusöngvari, many Bláþyrill (up to 20 Ind), some Pungmeisa, Seftittlingur, all three Wagtail species and a slight chance of seeing Nátthegri. Later in autumn and winter different species of ducks, Dílaskarfur and Gulönd. All year present are Dverggoði, Bleshæna, Sefhæna, Bláþyrill and Förufálki.
