In Teichgebiet Kolbitz lots of birds can be seen. The lakes are a sanctuary to a great variety of species such as Haförn and Gjóður. Definitely worth a visit.
Teichgebiet Kolbitz is located in the municipality of Lohsa, in the district of Bautzen. The ponds are situated east of the village of Steinitz. You can park nearby and then walk for 5 minutes or so.
