Salzwiesen Neufeld are salt marshes that attract many birds. Easily hundreds of Helsingi spend the winter here. Walking along the salt marshes many other migratory birds, as well as birds of prey can be spotted with luck. Among the birds you can encounter are Haförn, Hvinönd, Grágæs, Blesgæs, Brandönd, Tjaldur, Vepja and Bjúgnefja.
