Description
The Rothschildpark is a public park in Frankfurt, located within the central business district known as the Bankenviertel. The park is named for the Rothschild family, a banking family originating in Frankfurt. From 1832 the park was developed in the style of an English landscape garden. It's a nice place for birdwatching in the city. It is only a small park but has nonetheless an amazing variety of birds. Among the birds you can see in the park are Glóbrystingur, Blámeisa, Flotmeisa, Bókfinka, Grænfinka, Þistilfinka, Svartþröstur, Gráþröstur, Söngþröstur, Stari, Hnotigða, Gransöngvari, Laufsöngvari, Gulfinka, Barrfinka, Hringdúfa, Garðfeti, Svartkráka, Dvergkráka, Gauktíta, Grænspæta and Barrspæta.
