The Paderquellgebiet is an area of springs in the city centre of Paderborn. More than 4,000 liters of water flow out of them every second. Six spring basins form the headwaters of the river Pader and flow together to form the river Pader just before the inner city ring. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Hnúðsvanur, Sefhæna, Hettumáfur, Straumerla, Fossbúi and Bláþyrill.
The Paderquellgebiet is easy accessible on foot from the city centre of Paderborn. You can also park close to the area. Click on a P in the map for directions.
