Description

Mutlanger Heide offers a variety of bird species and otherwise interesting things. Fairly recently, the "WildpflanzenPark Mutlanger Heide" was established in an attempt to foster biodiversity. They have a garden, a variety of plants, nature trails, etc.

For the history nerds, this site offers some information of the stationed nuclear weapons, including old bunkers.

As for the birds, you can expect the usual park and forest birds such as Glókollur, Barrspæta, Kjarnbítur and with a bit of luck some Krossnefur.
