Description
Gochsen is a small village in Baden-Württemberg, bisected by the Kocher River. The weir offers a perfect view of the river, where you can observe Gráhegri, Stokkönd and Gulönd. Small reedbeds also adjoin the weir, where you can often find Straumerla, other songbirds, and, with a bit of luck, a Bláþyrill. Right next to the weir is a Hvítstorkur nest, where breeding takes place between April and August.

Access
Gochsener Weir is best reached on foot or by bicycle. Crossing the weir is only possible on foot, and care should be taken due to slippery moss. Parking is available in a small clearing by the meadow a few meters further on, which you must cross to reach the weir.
