Description
The Fuelbecker Talsperre is home to various waterfowl and woodland species. There are not usually great numbers of birds present on the reservoir itself, but with a bit of patience it is usually possible to see Skúfönd, Stokkönd, Mandarínönd and Dílaskarfur.
The woodland surrounding the reservoir is richer in birdlife. Svartspæta, Votmeisa, Barrmeisa, Toppmeisa, Dómpápi, Mistilþröstur and Glókollur can be observed here. There is also a good chance of seeing a Hrafn over the forest.
