Description

The Freisinger Isarauen extend southeast of the city of Freising on both sides of the Isar. From the end of April to July, you can see Trafgrípur, for which nest boxes are hung by the local LBV group. Other residents of the alluvial forest are woodpeckers such as Svartspæta, Gráspæta and Fauskspæta. Gulönd, Bláþyrill and Fossbúi occur on the river Isar all year round.
