Dense forest with a pond and a moor area. A circular trail of about 3.5 km in length leads through the area.
With a size of 140 hectares, the Bollenhagener Moorwald is the largest contiguous forest area in the Wesermarsch. A small moor can be crossed on a boardwalk. A high treetop tower with four levels gives different perspectives on the oak trees that surround the tower and a panoramic view over the forest.
The Bollenhagener Moorwald is located 7 km east of the town of Jaderberg. At the entrance of the area is a small parking lot. Click on the P in the map for directions. The area offers a total of around 7 km of trails for walking and cycling. A circular trail of about 3.5 km in length leads through the area.
