Wetland of 13 hectares along the river Avre, a tributary of the Somme.
The Nature Reserve of Saint-Ladre covers 13 hectares in the peat valley of the Avre. The extraction of peat for heating, during the 18th and 19th centuries, created the ponds that today make up the reserve. The area is characterized by a great diversity of environments with woods, reed beds and ponds. Among the birds you can encounter are Gaukur, Síkjasöngvari, Næturgali, Blábrystingur, Hettusöngvari, Blæsöngvari, Dverggoði and Seftittlingur.
